Luna, I too am 54 and once again trying to get back into shape. I am (once again) starting the C25K program today with the goal of running my first race in late August. If I can find a fun race in July that works with my family's schedule, I will sign up for that as well. Like you, I have done this before and then have developed an injury. This time, I plan on taking it slow and repeating the first few weeks to make sure I have a solid base. Don't know if that will work but its worth a try. How have you been doing?
