Hey everyone,
I'll be participating in the Bangkok Marathon this upcoming November, and I'm a bit concerned about the extremely early start time of the race. The full marathon begins at 2:00 a.m., which means that for bag check-in and warming up I'll need to arrive at 1:00 a.m.!
In the past, I have generally stuck to the same routine of waking up three hours early in order to drink lots of water and have breakfast, but I just don't know what to do this time around. Should I plan on waking up at 10:00 p.m. for "breakfast," should I go to bed at 5:00 p.m. the day before, or should I just accept the fact that I won't be getting any sleep and stay up all night? I'm worried about how my body will handle such an early race.
How do you think I should prepare? Has anyone else participated in similar races? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks so much,
Bridgette
