I feel like I am losing my endurance, not gaining more. What might be wrong?

Yogurt is a goodm protein, whether you are deficient or not will depend upon how nuch you are getting. Protein is important for recovery and muscle building, not so much for the act of running. Carbs are typically thought of as being the energy source for the actual run and the diet you are describing doesn't appear to include much in that way.  Dumping processed foods is a step in the right direction, you also want complex carbs such as from whole grains.  While no expert by any means, I suspect the change in climate (Arizona to Florida) has had an impact as well. Keep working on your diet plans making sure you are getting the necessary protein and carbs, and work on endurance by increasing your milage perhaps 10% per week without worrying about how fast or slow you are going. Speed will come.

You didn't indicate your age, not sure it matters, but I am also 6'3", am 69, and weighed about 210 four weeks ago when I suffered a serious bicycle accident, regaining conciousness in the ER. I have just been cleared to ride again (first ride was today) and to resume running (well more like jogging) tommorow will be first post accident run, hopefully will do 2-3 miles. I am sure my endurance has taken a serious hit and I dont want to get on any scales until I have had at least a couple of weeks of exercise!
