Pain in that area could be several things such as osteoarthritis, ligament strain, even a menescus problem. Hard to know with your discription what to suggest. One place to start is with new properly fitted shoes with the correct arch support for you. If you have already done that ...great. Warm-up with a walk for at least 5 minutes before running. If the pain worsens I would suggest a trip to the doctor.
